BENEATH THE PORCH Collection ponders the elements of life that fall through the cracks—the space between. Their status is absent, or in stasis. Things that fall between are neither gone, nor present; their sentiment is minus, mislaid, missed. Maybe. They may have vanished. Or perhaps their slipping away witnessed—to yearning, regret, indifference or worst of all, banishment. If the misplaced possessed souls, would we search for them? Or would they languish forevermore?
